a) [Sadie Mustchin.FTW] In 1881 census a child, Rosa MUSTCHIN aged 8 was listed living with them as their grand daughter. Martin is buried adjacent to his father at Amberley Churchy ard. Although a West Sussex family Martin was born in Dorset during the time his father Solomon was a gamekeeper there. Martin MUSTCHIN who died 30 Dec 1890, late of Littlehampton, has his will proved at Chichester by his executor, Daniel James Page of Arundel, a retired Carman and Dairyman. Martin's personal estate was £722-4s. A good deal of money in those days. Daniel James Page was Martin's brother-in-law. In 1854 Martin registered the birth of his son Martin Mark MUSTCHIN, and signed his signature as a cross. While his father could write Martin apparently could not. Graveyard Inscription: In memory of Martin MUSTCHIN late of Littlehampton who died on the 30 December 1889 aged 74 years Thy will be done.
