Isthe entry the mistranscribed to MOORE. if so it is not a mustchin p/g George of Chillerton Living with parents, next door to grandmother Anne RICE Charles joined the 6th Dragoon Guards at Parkhurst 2 December 1898. He was noted to be 5' 6" tall. 118 pounds in weight with a chest circumfrance of 33 inches. Had a fresh complexion, brown eyes, light brown hair and of Church of England religion. He had recieved a call up notice. His service was as follows: Home from 2/12/1898 until 31/1/1901 South Africa from 2/1/1901 until 11/1/1903 Egypt from 12/1/1903 until 23/10/1904 East Indies from 24/10/1904 until 9/11/1906 Home 10/11/1906 until 1/12/1910. He applied for and was granted honourable discharge on 1 December 1910. During his service he was awarded: SA Campaign medal and clasps Cape Colony Orange Free State Transvaal medal and Clasps 1901 and 1902 His next of Kin was noted as George MUSTCHIN of Chillerton (father) He attained 2nd Class ASC pass in education levels on 1/8/1904 Isle of Wight 2b, page 1434...March quarter 1918 Isle of Wight 6b, page 767...June quarter 1960
